In its compressed form (Bio-CNG), biomethane normally has an economic radius of 100 km. When injecting into the gas grid is not an option, biomethane can be converted to liquefied biomethane (Bio-LNG).<\/p>\n

Bio-LNG can be transported over long distances and has a higher energy content. One litre of liquefied gas is equal to three litres of compressed gas, making bio-LNG the most efficient solution for decarbonising the heavy-duty and marine transport industries.<\/p>\n

Upgrading: Purifying biogas to enable RNG liquefaction<\/h2>\n

Biogas upgrading removes impurities to generate biomethane, which can be used interchangeably with fossil natural gas. It can be injected directly into the existing gas grid or liquefied for storage or transportation. <\/p>\n

Our modular biogas upgrading plants use membrane-based CO2<\/sub>-removal technology to produce biomethane with >99% purity.
